From God Town, to Dimension X, to the Danger Zone; one way or another, Savage Dragon always ends up in fantastic far-out  places:

A vast, and extremely dangerous area due west of Chicago. A remnant from the time Sebastian Khan ruled the Earth-- the Danger Zone is a lawless land, now a refuge to mutants, freaks, and outcasts. The United States government has hired Dragon to help clean up the area. Progress has been slow due to the high concentration of freaks that live there.

Several times larger than our own universe, the Void is an interconnected pathway to all realities past, present and future. The Void is teeming with life-- from huge lizard-like creatures, to intelligent humanoid beings such as Mr. Glum.

Rex Dexter has spent years studying the void because of its possibilities for time travel, teleportation, and new sources of energy.

God Town is the home to Gods and their hybrid children. It is a floating city located above Denver, Colorado.

Years ago when gods walked the earth, they taught man how to forge metal, which resulted in man waging war on the gods. Since then, "All-God", master of the Gods decreed that Gods must never interfere with man .

The God's used to inhabit their own planet in the universe until human's discovered it and accidentally destroyed it. Since that day, "all-God" punished the Gods by forcing them to live on Earth. As part of the punishment, the hybrid children of the god's that were previously living on Earth were forced to move into God Town.

Secretly located in the basement of Dragon's house, the Liberty league Headquarters is where Rex Dexter spends much of his time inventing new gadgets, studying the Void, and monitoring world threats. Mighty Man, Battle Tank, SuperPatriot, and Dragon meet there regularly.

Dragon was first discovered  in a burning field in the Chicago area-- it has been his home ever since. Chicago is also a hot bed for mutant and freak activity, especially with the mafia-like Vicious Circle based there. Also, not far from Chicago, is the vast lawless, extremely dangerous area known as the Danger Zone.

The "Savage" world: is the Earth of the reality Dragon now resides in. Dragon was sent to this alternate reality by Darklord. The "Savage World" is so named because of the brutal turn of events that occurred in this reality.

For a long period of time the sinister Sebastian Khan took control of the planet.  Khan had the powerful ability to manipulate technology. This ability gave him the strength to stop an alien police force, known as the Cosmic Cops, as well as a Martian army from conquering the Earth. Khan then used his power to control the alien technology and conquer the Earth himself. Khan became the ruler of the Earth, causing governments to fall under his might thus crating anarchy over much of the world where many of the strongest "freaks" were allowed to roam and terrorize humans.

With a cunning plan and lots of luck, Dragon and his allies are able to defeat Khan. It's a long, drawn out battle with many casualties, but in the end Dragon prevailed..

The "savage" world is now in a state of repair. The United States has been able to rebuild many of it's destroyed cities, but there still remain areas, such as the Danger Zone, that need to be cleaned up from all of the outlaw freak and mutant inhabitants that roamed free under Khan's rule.

Dragon's life in his original reality occurred during what many fans call the "Imageverse" (issues 1-75). Dragon was removed form this plane of existence by Darklord and sent to the "savage" world, where he remains to this day.

In Dragon's absence, the "Imageverse" Earth was completely destroyed by the alien being Universo. The only survivors from the "imageverse" reality include Alex Wilde, who crossed into a "Savage world" portal following Dragon; as well as Malcolm Dragon, Angel, and a couple of other kids that were thrown into the Void before the world exploded.

An earth from an alternate reality. Through manipulating time, Damien Darklord was almost able to create his perfect utopia, but instead developed a hero-less earth, dubbed "Darkworld",  that was open to attack by an intergalactic police force, called the Cosmic Cops. The Cosmic Cops teleported the whole planet to an unknown point in the galaxy. The strain of the teleportation was to much the alternate earth and the planet began to crumble, heading towards a certain mass destruction. In an effort to save the world he ruled, Damien Darklord began swapping parts of Darkworld with the Earth from Dragon's reality. Dragon and his government super team were eventually able to defeat Darklord and his Earth swapping plans, but not before some of the residents of Darkworld were able to escape to Dragon's world. Darkworld eventually disintegrated killing millions of people.
