Chapter 1: Enter the Savage World

Before Dragon is able to crush young Darklord's skull, the villain uses his power to swap Dragon's consciousness with that of a Dragon from yet another alternate Earth, this one dubbed the "Savage World".

Contacting an alternate version of himself on the "Savage World", Damien Darklord is able to engineer a mind swap of the two Dragon's right at the point where our hero is about to kill him. The Darklord from the "Savage World" sacrifices himself to send the "Savage World" Dragon's mind into our hero's body, meanwhile the Dragon that we know has his mind swapped into the "Savage World" Dragon's body.

Although the "Savage World" Darklord dies in the process, the Darklord from our hero's original reality lives and destroys the consciousness of the "Savage World" Dragon.

Thus our hero's consciousness has now been transported in to the body of a Dragon from another horrible reality--a reality severely changed from the lack of interference of a time traveling adult Damien Darklord.

When Dragon wakes up in his new reality, he has no idea where he is. He quickly discovers that the new place he finds himself in has been severely decimated and overrun by giant creatures and hordes of barbaric beings. Eventually he realizes that he is in Chicago and comes to the conclusion that by killing Damien Darklord he created a dramatic change in time and reality causing devastating results.
