Chapter 2: Reclaiming the "Savage World"

It doesn't take long for Dragon to discover that in this new reality the world has been taken over by one of his old enemies, a villain by the name of Sebastian Khan (a.k.a. Cyberface). Once the member of the Vicious Circle crime organization,  Sebastian Khan has the powerful ability to manipulate all technology. This ability gave him the strength to stop an alien police force, known as the Cosmic Cops, as well as a Martian army from their attempts at conquering the Earth. Khan then used his power to control the alien technologiy and conquer the Earth for himself.

Using his incredible power, new found alien technology, and a legion of loyal super-powered freak gangsters; Khan became the ruler of the Earth-- causing governments to fall under his might and creating anarchy over much of the world. Without structure, cities crumbled and civilization quickly deteriorated. Mutant “freaks” and gangs of barbarians are allowed to roam freely and terrorize mankind. Insects enlarged by alien technology roam free and mutated monsters hide everywhere. Most of the world is a complete mess with only a few isolated pockets of civilization left undisturbed by Khan or the reproductions of the alien invasions.

In this new reality Dragon is a wanted man. Due to an assassination attempt on "King" Khan by the original "Savage World" Dragon, the ruthless dictator is out to destroy Dragon at any cost and has placed a large bounty on his head. Still scrambling to understand where he is and what is going on, Dragon is repeatedly attacked by an array money-hungry mutants and barbarians. Eventually running into some allies from his past including WildStar (now known as Soulstar), Star (William Johnson), and Rita Medermaide, Dragon learns of the events of this reality as well as his fugitive status. Dragon also discovers that he had a connection in this new reality with Jennifer Murphy, his love interest from his old reality. Jennifer fled the troubles of the Chicago area for fear of her daughter’s safety and has not been seen since. Dragon desperately wants to find her and make sure she is safe

Unable to take on Khan and his powerful empire alone, Dragon spends a few years on the run from the dictator and his army of controlled freaks and aliens. During this time Dragon has many adventures running into the "savage world" counterparts of past friends and acquaintances from his original reality, and finding out that the reality changes caused by Darklord changed the outcome of many people's lives. In this reality, some heroes never came to be, some villains became heroes instead, and some people that Dragon was close to in his original reality never met the "savage world” version of Dragon in the first place. Eventually Dragon is able to track down and enlist the aid of enough allies (including former enemies) where he feels he can take down "King" Khan for good.

With a cunning plan and lots of luck, Dragon and his allies are able to defeat Khan. It's a long, drawn out battle with many casualties, but in the end Dragon prevails.

In the aftermath, Khan was kept a prisoner in space by Dragon's alien friend, Vanguard until his robotic assistant, Wally, killed Khan in fear of being controlled by the villain's powers.
